When I was in Los Angeles last week, I was driving around Highland Park looking for a liquor store so that I could buy a little beer. And that is, of course, breaking news…

Well, what was news was that to my surprise (and I used to live in the area, so it was not just me being a retard) there aren’t as many mom and pop liquor stores as there used to be. I imagine that it has something to do with the fact that most people are now buying their hooch by the barrel at places like BevCo and stuff.

When I finally did find one, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the parking lot behind it was a huge world of awesome graffiti. Here are a few of my faves:

If you’re ever in the area, these can be found just behind this little liquor store that’s on Figueroa, where it meets Avenue 60. For hi-res images, see my flickr account.
